EVE Search - Angel Extravaganza

Loc Maythan Gallente AlfaCorp	Posted - 2007.08.28 09:01:00 - [1] I solo'd the level 4 Angel Extravaganza bonus room in a Domi. The most important things are: 1) a good tank - mine is x-type armour hardeners, an x-type LAR and a LAR II 2) sentry drones and 2 drone link augmentors, which allows you to take down the turrets and batteries quickly, thus reducing the damage. There are scrambling frigates (2 iirc) which you should take down quickly, just in case. Leave the BS for as long as possible, as there is a BS trigger resulting in more BS, and if you haven't reduced the damage enough, this could be nasty. My tank was strong against exp and kin, the usual for Angels, but weak against therm (56%), and my tank was not quite holding with aggro from everything, but held for long enough for me to reduce the damage to a managable level, and I didn't need to warp out. Next time, however, I will go in with exp/exp/kin/therm (instead of exp/exp/kin/kin) which my calculations show will reduce the damage by 10dps - doesn't sound like a lot, but reducing 30dps getting past my hardeners to 20dps is quite important as it means my armour will last 50% longer.
